At our school, we use a time-tested approach to learning called Classical Education, which is based on how children naturally develop. Think of it in three stages, like building blocks:

Elementary Years (Grammar): Building the Foundation. This is like learning the basic facts and rules of everything – like memorizing multiplication tables or the parts of a sentence. We help your child build a strong base of knowledge in all subjects.

Middle School Years (Logic): Learning to Think Clearly. As your child gets older, they start to ask "why?" and want to understand how things connect. In this stage, we teach them how to think logically, solve problems, and understand the information they've learned.

High School Years (Rhetoric): Communicating Effectively. This is when teenagers want to share their ideas. We help them learn to express themselves clearly, confidently, and persuasively, both in writing and speaking.
Essentially, Trivium helps your child learn how to learn. By mastering these three stages, they become independent thinkers who can tackle any subject and communicate their ideas well, setting them up for success in college and beyond.
Centrality of History
At Grace Academy, we take a deep dive into the incredible stories of the past—focusing on the major events, nations, and individuals that shaped the world through the lens of God’s providence. This isn’t your average “social studies” class. Instead, students experience history as a fascinating, interconnected narrative that builds their understanding of the present.
While we explore the wonders of many civilizations, we also take special care to explore the rich heritage and culture of the West. Drawing inspiration from thinkers like C.S. Lewis, our students are encouraged to see themselves as part of a centuries-long story, developing a deeper connection to both the world around them and their place within it.

Language Focused
At Grace Academy, we believe in the power of words! Our Classical education focuses on helping your child become a master of language—reading, writing, and speaking with confidence. We use proven methods like phonics to build strong reading skills, with a big emphasis on spelling, grammar, and good penmanship.
Students dive into the Great Books as soon as they can read, exploring literature through a Biblical lens. As they progress, they develop critical thinking and the ability to engage with ideas in the world around them—equipped with both the wisdom of the past and a Christian perspective. Latin is also part of the journey, sharpening language skills even further!
